The compound is a mixture of isomers A ,B , and C .Cancer cell studies show that Oligomycin does not activate the hypoxia-induced factor, however, it enhances the bioenergetic adaptation of heterogeneous bioenergetically organized cells. Oligomycin has been shown to decreased the cyclin D1 protein expression levels
