用途 靠阻止氨基酰-tRNA结合到30S亚单位上抑制蛋白合成。抗菌谱: 革兰氏阴性和阳性细菌。耐药性模式: 活性丧失， 核糖体保护, 四环素失活。
生化机理 Oxytetracycline inhibits translation which results in cell death. It binds to the 30S ribosomal subunit and prevents the amino-acyl tRNA from binding to the A site of the ribosome. The binding is reversible in nature. Oxytetracycline is lipophilic so it can easily pass through a cell membrane and passively diffuses through channels in the bacterial membrane.
